Lunch Bunch

Schwarzwald UCC's Preschool is pleased to offer this enrichment program to our preschool children.  It is designed to extend the school day until 2:15 p.m. and offer socialization with peers from other classes in the preschool and gain independence during lunch time experience.  We offer lunch bunch to students after regular class days (for extended stay and play) and lunch only days, when they are invited to come in just for lunch bunch on their off class days*  The lunch bunch only days are great for a mid day break, additional school day experiences or if your child isn't quite ready for the longer days yet.   *this applies to MWF or T/TH classes (they can come in for lunch only on their alternating off class days) 

Lunch Bunch is available for all enrolled Pre-K students and enrolled 3's students (by teacher recommendation/invitation depending on student readiness)  Pre-K children who attend Lunch Bunch become used to a longer day for when they attend kindergarten.  This is an optional addition to regular preschool day hours and you can select whichever days to participate.   

The program runs from after regular class schedule ends until 2:15 pm on Monday- Friday.  During this time, students eat lunch with their peers and participate in activities such as free play time, guided games and play, story time, crafts, and fun at the playground (weather permitting). Students bring a packed cold lunch, healthy snacks and beverage to school on these days in a lunch box.  If its an "off class day" you drop your child off at 12:15pm at upper driveway office doors (with a packed lunch). Pick up is at 2:15pm at the lower parking lot entrance. 

Lunch bunch sign up's are done on a monthly basis and must be submitted with payment at least one week (by the Friday prior) to children attending.  Lunch bunch days are available at first come first serve and max of 12 students per day. The preschool teachers take turns hosting Lunch Bunch in their classrooms. This provides the preschoolers interactions with different teachers, classrooms and classmates each day. 

FULL DAY students are automatically enrolled with Lunch Bunch included.  More information will be given to parents at orientation.
